Workshop about Spiritual Emergency for Peak States people 

People doing meditation or deep therapeutic processes might all of a sudden find themselves in a Spiritual Emergency. This excessive energetical opening can look like a psychosis or other mental illnesses.

It is therefore a part of becoming a Peak States therapist to know about Spiritual Emergencies. This workshop is meant to be a help to have the issue become more alive and understandable by inviting several people to teach.

Dr. Grant McFetridge being a specialist on the subject will be with us several hours on Skype. Advanced therapist Nemi Nath will tell about her own experience with Spiritual Emergency. Psychiatrist Berit Barnett will tell about the difference between Spiritual Emergency and mental illness

The idea is also to let the participants if they want share their experiences in the field of Spiritual Emergency, so we can all learn from it.

It is very much advised to read the books Spiritual Emergency by Stanislav Groff and Helping people with Spiritual Emergency by Emma Bragdon before the workshop. Also read Grants article on the website http://www.peakstates.com/emergency.html.

This workshop is not a substitute for the test put up by ISPS to become a certified therapist.
